Just after 1600 hrs, Company 2 was sent to Yorktown Dr. in Lake Caroline Subdivision for a 1st due working fire. Chief 2 arrived to find heavy smoke and fire on the back side of the residence. A fire had started on the deck and quickly spread up the outside wall into the attic. Squad 2 with a crew of five quickly attacked the fire and contained it to the attic area. Engine 1 arrived shortly after and completed overhaul operations. The residence was all clear of occupants. Two firefighters sustained minor injuries.Yorktown Fire
